How to find Beechwood
From the A27
If you are travelling via the A27, take the first exit on the Lewes roundabout (signposted Lewes and Tunbridge Wells). Turn right at the roundabout onto the A26. Follow the A26 to the junction with the A22, turn right at the roundabout on to the A22, signposted towards Eastbourne, Beechwood is approximately 2 miles on the right hand side after you enter Halland

From the M25
Take Junction 6 follow the A22 signposted Eastbourne, past Uckfield towards Halland. Beechwood is on the right hand side, 500 metres before the junction with the B2192, at the Halland roundabout.

- What time is check in / check out?
Guests are able to gain access to the property any time after 3pm on their night of stay and are requested to leave by 10 am on their morning of departure.
- Do you offer vegetarian, diary and gluten free breakfasts?
Yes – If you have any other dietary requirements, please call us ahead of your stay so we can accommodate your needs.
- Are the gardens available for use?
Yes – you are welcome to make use of our beautiful, mature and well kept garden. In summer outdoor seating is also available for all residents.
- Where are the nearest train stations?
We are conveniently situated between Uckfield (3 miles) and Lewes (6 miles) train stations.
- What good pubs are close?
There are lots of great pubs and restaurants close to Beechwood – we have listed and given details about them here:
- Is there a single supplement?
There is no single supplement from May to October, on all rooms.
- Do you offer evening meals?
No – however there are a number of pubs and restaurants nearby. Please check our ‘Explore’ pages to find out more about the range of pubs, restaurants and cafes close to Beechwood.
- Do you allow smoking?
No – Beechwood has a strict no smoking policy in all guest rooms.
- Is Beechwood open all year?
Yes – Beechwood is open all-year-round including Christmas and New Year.

There are a total of 4 rooms at Beechwood – we are very well located for both the Glyndebourne festival and the Lewes bonfire night events.

Unfortunately we do not allow guests to bring their pets to Beechwood.

Yes – Taxis are available to take you to events, pubs, restaurants etc – however they must always be booked in advance. Speak to us on arrival for more details.
