Established since 2006 – family run bed and breakfast in the village of Halland just ten mins from Glyndebourne. With large, stylish and recently refurbished rooms. Two rooms have king sized beds and one has twin beds, all with luxurious mattresses to ensure you get a good night’s sleep. All rooms have dedicated luxury shower rooms. Enjoy our well-maintained, beautiful and peaceful garden and large, bright conservatory to savour your locally sourced breakfast. You can select from our comprehensive breakfast menu for which we are proud to have received a Breakfast Award as well as an Excellence award from Trip Advisor for the fifth consecutive year. We take great care in providing everything that you would expect from any five-star hotel and always offer a very warm welcome. We are just 10 minutes drive from Glyndebourne and Lewes.

If you would like a taxi to take you to and from the Glyndebourne Festival, Love Supreme Festival or a wedding /event then you need to book early to avoid disappointment. We can send you an approved list of drivers/companies or make the booking on your behalf.

					Eine wunderschöne Zeit Wunderschönes gepflegtes Haus in dörflichem Umfeld direkt an der A22. Freundliche, gastliche Atmosphäre, der Gastgeber hat beim Koffertragen geholfen. Ausgezeichnetes, frisch zubereitetes Frühstück (Full English Breakfast!), aber auch selbstgemachte Marmeladen, Toast, Kaffee und Tee. Sehr zu empfehlen für Besucher des Glyndebourne Opera Festival, aber auch für Touristen, die Sussex erkunden möchten. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

					Impeccable, top-quality accommodations with a personal touch. We stayed for two nights at Beechwood B and B while attending the Glyndebourne Opera festival, which is only about a ten minute drive away. Beechwood is owned and operated by Carol and her husband Ceri, who live on the premises. The accommodations were first rate -- with lovely furnishings, a big comfortable bed, a well-equipped bathroom, high quality fixtures, everything impeccably clean -- which goes not only for our room but the whole house. Carol and Ceri were wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home. (We especially enjoyed spending time in their large garden playing with their dogs, Raffles and René.) The breakfast offering was broad and varied, from a traditional English breakfast to eggs with smoked salmon, prepared by the owners. We will be sure to stay with Carol and Ceri again the next time we come Glyndeborn.

					A Truly Memorable Escape at Beechwood BB 10/10 – Exceeded Expectations Beechwood B&B exceeded our expectations in every way. Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and felt more like staying in a lovely home than a B&B. The luxurious fluffy white towels and thoughtful attention to detail added to the overall experience. Breakfast far exceeded our expectations, with a delicious selection of fresh, high-quality food that was the perfect start to each day. The location is excellent, with a quaint local pub just a short stroll away, along with a lovely café and boutique grocery store nearby. Everything about our stay was exceptional. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Beechwood B&B and would happily stay again. 10/10

					A memorable and relaxing five nights! Good location with various nearby attractions and a local pub with good food. Friendly atmosphere in a lovely home with very welcoming hosts. Very comfortable room overlooking their beautiful garden. Generous breakfast with lots of options available.

Attention to detail in every respect throughout and everything you needed for a few days break. Beautiful relaxing areas in the lounge and gardens. Exceptional breakfast with an extensive menu. Very welcoming and a lovely atmosphere.

					Beechwood B & B , Halland We had an overnight stay at Beechwood B & B as we were heading to the Glyndebourne Opera Festival. This most welcoming B & B is in a superb location. The house is beautifully laid out, with an amazing garden. The bedroom and en suite were certainly of a 5 Star Quality. Carol & Ceri made us feel very much at home and made sure our stay was enjoyable. There was a variety of cooked breakfasts and an excellent range of cereals, juices, yogurts, fruits etc. We cannot speak highly enough of this excellent accommodation and look forward to returning. 					A really great B&B! I had a really nice stay at the property. The rooms were very comfortable and the house is well located for all the local amenities. It is a fantastic house, the host provided lots of good recommendations, and the breakfast was really good. I highly recommend this place and would definitely like to go back.

					Lovely place to stay Lovely B&B with a great atmosphere and spotless rooms. Had every facility we could possibly need. The cooked breakfast was amazing, the setting is beautiful, and the host was so helpful. Honestly nothing negative to say — would absolutely stay again.

					Absolutely loved our experience would definitely stay again xx Secluded location however manageable if you are a car owner.a real homley warm atmosphere. The rooms were impeccable very tastefully decorated clean and all facilities accommodated. Slept well noise very low level. Great service hot breakfast at the time you require the owners were super friendly and chatty and the most gorgeous doggy called raffles a tibetian terrier.

					perfect Well I don't often take the time to write reviews, but when somewhere is truly outstanding I feel it is only fair to share. So my wife and I had just one night at Beechwood, but to say we wished it was longer would be something of an understatement. The accommodation, hosts and breakfast were all of the highest standard. Our room was bordering on the opulent it was so well furnished and decorated. Carol and Kerry struck a perfect balance of friendly and attentive with professional and unobtrusive. The breakfast choices were everything you might expect at a 5 star hotel, but made personally just for you. My wife had fresh fruit and cereal followed by a perfect omelette, and I couldn't help myself and had some cheese and a full English. Yummy. Would I go back? In a heart beat. Would I recommend Beechwood as a place to stay? Yes, especially if you want to spoil yourself a little. I am in my sixties and in over forty years of independent travel this is the best B&B I have ever stayed in.

Beautifully appointed house, garden, and thoughtful additions of every type of tea and coffee and comfort you could possibly need in each room. 					A top five star B&B with charming hosts and every facility. An excellent B&B, as good as it gets. Facilities are excellent, including a lounge with a large screen TV that we could use and drink wine. The rooms themselves were first class with every conceivable facility provided. The breakfast with a wide choice was superb.

					Definitely a place I will return to. Ceri and Carol were very welcoming hosts and the quality of everything in their b&b was outstanding. My room, The Woodpecker, had a great view of the beautiful garde. It was only an easy 15 minute drive to Glyndebourne and ,on the return journey there was a good pub serving foood and local ales just a five minute walk away. I’ve never come across such a wide choice for breakfast, I think there were 18 different jars of cerials and at least a dozen choices of cooked breakfast which were served in a most elegant breakfast room.
